Regular Meeting of PIAA District 6 – October 9, 2003
Vice-Chairman D’Ambrosia called the meeting of the District 6 Committee to order at 4:00 PM at the Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. Present were: Ray Wotkowski, Dean Rossi, Al D’Ambrosia, Michael Sakash, Dave Heim, David Crumrine, Don Hosterman, Jules Dill, Vince Nedimyer, Alberta Ake, Gary Jubas, Norman Krumenacker, Charles Koren, Susan Werner, Kim Struble and Kathy Getz.
Approval of Minutes
On a motion by David Crumrine and Michael Sakash, the minutes of the September 11, 2003, were approved.
Dave Heim and Kathy Getz reviewed disqualification reports for soccer and football. No action was taken.
Committee members were given copies of the proposed PIAA football brackets, Tribune newspaper article, and the financial checklist to review.
On a motion by Vince Nedimyer and Don Hosterman, the District 6 Committee unanimously approved the September Financial Report.
All tournament requests are to be mailed directly to the PIAA office for approval.
On a motion by Dean Rossi and Jules Dill, the following students at Bishop McCort, and Ferndale are eligible for sports based on Article VI, Transfer and Residence, Section 8, Charles Koren abstained from voting:

Foreign Exchange Eligibility Hearings
There were no foreign exchange hearings.
PIAA Board of Directors meeting will be held on Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th at the Hershey Lodge. The Human Resources committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 19th at the Harrisburg Holiday Inn.

Dates of Tournament: First Round – May 25, 26, 27, 2004
Championship: May 29, 2004
Last date to enter: May 19, 2004
The final record is to be faxed to Kathy Getz, tournament director, by May 22, 2004, 10:00 AM or sooner if season has ended earlier.
The next meeting of the PIAA District 6 Committee will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2003, at the Hollidaysburg Area High School at 4:00 PM.
